2026 Pasco County Fair, Art Show, School Art Exhibit, Youth Exhibit, Art Market Eligibility & Guidelines.
Eligibility:
* Youth Exhibit: Pasco County residents 5 - 17 years old.
*Art Show: Youth - Pasco County residents Ages 5-17
*Art Show: Adults - Pasco County residents 18-30 & 31-100.
*Art Market: Pasco County artists with any art related business. All Ages.
* School Art Exhibit: Pasco County Schools Visual Arts student art exhibit.
*The Pasco County Fair Association, Inc. accepts or rejects entries at their discretion.
* The Pasco County Fair Association, Inc. does not discriminate against any artist on the basis of age, race, gender, disability, religion, or national origin.
Registration:
Registration must be completed online to the Pasco County Fair website by Thursday
February 5, 2026.
One form per entry.
Art Show Entry Fee: $10.00 per entry, maximum 2 entries;
Art Market Entry Fee: Flat $10.00 per display space up to 4’x8’.
School Art Exhibit and Youth Exhibit are free to enter.
Presentation:
All entries must be show ready. Paintings, drawings, and photographs must be framed
and wired for hanging.
Drop Off and Pick Up
Dates/Locations
Entries for the Art Show, School Art Exhibit, or Youth Exhibit may be dropped off at the
School Building on the fairgrounds (look for the art show signs) on Fri. February 6th from
9 am till 3 pm Saturday February 7th from 9 am till 3 pm at the fairgrounds.
Optionally you may drop off entries at Murcar Realty LLC located at Aquatic Adventures
of Florida, 5858 Gall Boulevard in Zephyrhills (across from Sunrise Eatery and
Enterprise Rent a Car) on Thursday February 4th from 10 am to 5 pm and on Friday
February 5th from 10 am to 6 pm or Saturday, February 6th from 10 am to 4 pm.
If you wish to ship your entries to the fair you may send it to my office address below to
be received between February 4th - February 7th, 2026. You must include the return
shipping label so that your entry can be returned to you along with any award after the

Pick up your entries after 6:00 p.m. on Sunday February 22 or between 10 a.m. and
2:00 p.m. On Monday February 23 in the School Building at the fairgrounds.
Art Market should be set up by Sunday evening, February 15, 2026 and taken down
between 6 pm Sunday, February 22nd and Monday afternoon February 23rd
.
School Art Exhibit:
Pasco County Art Teachers: You may choose to send your student
artwork by Wednesday, February 11th via courier to Michelle Vasko, Art Teacher,Pasco
Middle School. Be sure to include a list of student names with the work/medium and
grade level. We will return your work to you along with the awards via courier after
February 23, 2026. You may also drop off / pick up your work during the times stated for
the art show and youth exhibit. Maximum 20 entries per school. Please enclose the
printed inventory of student work and email a word document (NOT PDF) to

Pick Up
All entries may be picked up in the School Building on the fairgrounds, 36722 Co Rd 52
Dade City, on Sunday, February 22, 2026, AFTER 6 pm until 8pm or Monday, February
24, 2026 from 8 am-12pm. * Entries not picked up by the assigned dates and times
become the property of The Pasco County Fair Association, Inc.
Art Show ages 5-17, Art Show Adults 18-30 & 31-100,
* Ribbons and prizes will be awarded as follows:
- First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention place ribbons will be awarded in all
Categories and Divisions using a rubric. Every entry that is awarded a first-place ribbon
will be considered for one of these five awards.
"Best in Show" judges overall favorite adult $100.00 youth $50.00
"Best Agriculture" reflects the country life adult $50.00 youth $25.00
"Cotton Candy Award" for the art that is sentimental and/or endearing adult $50.00
youth $25.00
"Florida" award for work about life in Florida, adult $50.00 youth $25.00
"Headliner" award for the best portrait e.g. musician, politician adult $50.00 youth
$25.00
* Judging will take place the week of February 10-14, 2026.
* Judges will be selected by the Pasco County Fair Assoc. event coordinator.
* In the event there are not three (3) participants in a category/division, the award of ribbons will be at the discretion of the judges.
*Age Divisions: Youth 5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17 Adult 18-30, 31-100
Art Show Categories & Media / Technique:
* Drawing - pencil, charcoal, Conte crayon, chalk, pastel, ink.
* Painting - watercolor, acrylic, oil, ink wash.
* Mixed Media – 2 or 3 dimensional work including two or more media
* Photography - printed image minimum size 8”x10”
* Digital Art – printed image minimum size 8”x10”
* Sculpture - clay, wood*, plaster, stone, wax, metal, paper-mache, or like material.
Art Show Guidelines:
* Maximum of two entries per artist
* Two entries by one artist must be in different categories.
* Entries must have been created in last year.
* All entries must be show ready. Paintings, drawings, and photographs must be framed
and wired for hanging. Saw tooth hangers are not acceptable.
*Individual wishing to display a collection of work may do so in the "Art Market".
* The Pasco County Fair Association, Inc. and its representatives will take care of
entries to the best of their ability. However, they are not to be held responsible for any
damage or loss.
School Art Exhibit
Guidelines:
Each two-dimensional entry must be either mounted or matted and ready to hang.
All entries must be labeled with the name of artist, school, grade, medium, and title or
description of work. Each school may bring up to 20 student art works. Each school
must provide a hard copy as well as a digital copy (NOT PDF) of student work including
name of artist, school, grade, medium, and title or description of work as well as a digital
inventory. Both lists will facilitate our ability to promote the winners and give recognition
to your school.
Each entry awarded a ribbon for First, Second, Third place or Honorable Mention will be
awarded using the Danish Method of assessment. Student work earning first place in
the School Art Exhibit will be considered for one of the following awards in elementary,
middle, and high school: “Art Teacher’s Choice”, “The Mona Lisa”, and “Starry Night”. There
will be an additional prize for the students receiving these honors and each will receive
a medal.
Youth Exhibit
Guidelines:
* Maximum of two entries per person
* Two entries by one person must be in different categories.
* Entries must have been created in last year.
* All entries must be show ready. Paintings, drawings, and photographs must be framed
and wired for hanging. Saw tooth hangers are not acceptable.
*Identify department, division, and number of category for each entry
*Age Divisions are 5, 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, 12-13, 14-15, 16-17.
* Ribbons and prizes will be awarded as follows: First, Second, Third Place and Honorable Mention ribbons will be awarded using the Danish Method of assessment.
*Any food items need to be delivered on Sunday, February 15th for the judges to
sample. Provide items needed to sample e.g. plates, spoons.

Art Market:
Guidelines:
Any art related business can have an area in the Art Market whether promoting events
or selling art work.
Entry fee is $10.00
Set up signage, art, point of sale, etc. by Sunday, February 15, 2026.
Take down between 6-8 pm Sunday, Feb 22nd or Monday, Feb 23rd from 8 am to 3 pm.
There are a variety of spaces available for the Art Market.
