Rockland Road - Live in Concert!

Rockland Road is a street just outside Nashville. It’s a studio where countless hit records have been recorded. It’s a crossroads where country, gospel, pop, R&B and Americana music has coexisted and thrived for years. It is also a vocal-driven, melodic band with a signature sound as rich and authentic as its namesake.
Rockland Road is six musicians who share the last name Martin—representing four generations of musical heritage—all vocalists who among them play 23 different instruments. It is a powerhouse group featuring soulful vocals imbued with a pure, exuberant joy worthy of the talented blood that flows through this family’s veins.

So where did it all begin? Grammy-winning artist Paul Martin, lead singer/guitarist of country-pop supergroup Exile, met and married Jamie Allen, daughter of Duane Allen, a member of Country Music Hall of Fame gospel group The Oak Ridge Boys, and Grand Ole Opry background singer Norah Lee Allen. Individually and collectively, Paul and Jamie’s four children were exposed early to a rich musical existence, and they watched as each child demonstrated God-given musical talent early on.

Regional performances began to boom, leading to appearances on national television shows like Huckabee, The Oak Ridge Boys’ “American Legion Christmas Special,” The Marty Stuart Show, Country’s Family Reunion, Gaither Homecoming and Larry’s Country Diner, and Jimmy Bowen & Friends. They’ve taken their stage show to venues as varied as the U.S. Library of Congress, the White House, the Grand Ole Opry, the Country Music Cruise and countless fairs, festivals and performing arts centers across the country. Additionally, Rockland Road has performed the national anthem for many major NBA, MLB and NCAA sporting events, including the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, Chicago Bulls, San Antonio Spurs and Cleveland Cavaliers.

Rockland Road sees every night spent onstage not just as a time to spread the joy they get from music or as a chance to share their story. Every night is an opportunity to take a new audience on a musical experience they won’t soon forget. See them live in concert on Tuesday February 21st @ 7 pm in Dan Cannon Auditorium .

Down East Boys -Gospel Music Night -Thurs. Feb. 23

The Pasco County Fair is proud to present The Down East Boys & The Hysongs for Gospel Music Night-- Concert starts at 6 pm, doors open 30 mins. before concert.

Since their inception in 1985, the Down East Boys have been making great music. A mainstay in the gospel industry, their name is synonymous with classic quartet harmony and songs that have stood the test of time. Though their tenure as a leading quartet spans several decades, their music remains relevant and their name is consistently at the top of the radio singles chart. Despite their success and the many accolades that have come their way, their goal remains the same as it was when they started-to take the gospel of Jesus to all the world.

Musically, this group has given gospel music many treasured and popular songs. Early in their career, their single "Beautiful Valley" stayed on the Top 40 of the Singing News Radio Chart for ten months and solidified Down East as a nationally known artist. It would be this song that would prompt readers of Singing News Magazine to vote the quartet the Horizon Group of the Year in 1990. More recently, the group has topped the charts several times with songs such as "Beat Up Bible," "Testimony Time," "I'd Like To Tell It Again," "Amazing Amounts of Amazing Grace," and "What Love."

The Hysongs - Goapel Music Night (Thursday)

Dell, Susan and Richard Hyssong travel full-time as the award-winning Hyssongs. Their energetic ministry combines family vocal harmony, humor and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone) to delight audiences with their Christ-centered message, shared through the powerful medium of music. The family’s classical music background, along with their harmony and specific chord structures, lend them a unique sound that has made quite an impact on audiences.

The group has been singing together as a family for more than 24 years. The Hyssongs have received many accolades for their quality, inspirational Southern Gospel sound. They were awarded the Singing News Fan Award for Favorite New Trio 2014 at the National Quartet Convention, Pigeon Forge, TN. Every year since then they have been voted Top Ten Trio of the Year.

You can hear them regularly on Southern Gospel radio stations and Sirius XM EnLighten. Their radio songs consistently chart in the top 10 each month. “There Is A God”, “Choose Life”, “Run The Race”, “I Tell Them Jesus” and “Let The Hallelujahs Ring”, are #1 songs on the Singing News Radio Charts. The Hyssongs have also been on several gospel music magazine covers and their family is featured in numerous articles. Absolutely Gospel.com listed them among ten artists to watch in 2015 and their CD, “Faith & Family”, was voted a Top 10 album of the year in 2017 by Singing News Fans. The group has also been featured on Paul Heil’s “The Gospel Greats” radio program.
