Country music singer and songwriter Billy Dean will present
an acoustic guitar performance at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at the
Pasco County Fair. The performance will be on the Clayton Way Stage
and Dean all be joined by special guest Chloe Channell, a contestant
on "America's Got Talent" and "American
William Harold Dean Jr., called Billy, also gained
national attention after appearing on the television talent
competition "Star Search."
Born in Quincy,
57-year-old Dean began playing in his father's band, The Country
Rocks, at age 8. He continued to play with the band throughout high
school, along with other local musicians. He attended college one
year on a basketball scholarship before dropping out to pursue his

Fair Parade at 11:30 a.m. Feb. 17 in downtown Dade City. The 73rd
annual Pasco County Fair will open at 2 p.m. that day at the
