The Inspirations for Gospel Music Night-- Concert starts at 6 pm, doors open 30 mins. before concert. The Inspirations are being sponsored by Dade City Realty / Pat German.
Formed in 1964, The Inspirations are one of Gospel music’s longest-standing quartets. The group’s distinct sound is instantly recognizable and has changed little across 57 years of recordings — no matter who was singing.
When live performances started to return last summer after the pandemic hit, Archie Watkins, Eddie Deitz and Marlin Shubert, chose not to return to the road. . The newest generation of members, Roland Kesterson, lead vocal; Isaac Moore, tenor vocal; Wyatt Austin, bass vocal; and Luke Vaught, baritone vocal and keyboard, hit the road, continuing to share The Inspirations’ music.
“To say 2020 was an unusual year is probably an understatement,” say The Inspirations. “But the young guys, Roland, Luke, Wyatt and Isaac, were eager to get out and sing at venues asking for The Inspirations. The new generations of Inspirations are winning over a wide age range of fans across the country. from Silver Dollar City in Branson, MO to the National Quartet Convention in Pigeon Forge, TN audiences are falling in love with their amazing voices and distinctive 4 part harmony. The Inspirations will be in concert Thursday, February 24th @ 6 PM in Dan Cannon Auditorium - Concert is included with fair gate admission.
