The dirt will be flying as the cowboys and cowgirls ride again at the fifth annual Pasco County Fair Championship Rodeo on Friday night and Saturday afternoon in the arena located on the southside of the 40-acre fairgrounds. Friday night’s rodeo will get underway at 7p.m. and is billed as “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night in support of breast cancer awareness. Saturday’s rodeo will begin at 2:30 p.m. Charlie Lowery of 4-L Rodeo will be bringing his top rodeo stock to challenge these professional rodeo riders in performances that are sure to excite audiences of all ages. Sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association, the rodeo will include the events of bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, team roping, calf roping, steer wrestling, bullriding, and barrel racing. There will also be rodeo clowns and specialty acts.
