2008 MISS PASCO COUNTY/MISS PASCO COUNTY FAIR
RULES & REGULATIONS

The Miss Pasco County/Miss Pasco County Fair Pageant is under the direction of the Pasco County Fair Association Pageant Committee that will oversee the pageant through the selection of Miss Pasco County/Miss Pasco county Fair and their court. The queens and their court will be chosen by judges from the Miss Florida Pageant Scholarship Program. Deadline to enter the pageant is Jan. 11, 2008.

1. Contestant for the Miss Pasco County & Miss Pasco County Fair Pageants must have been a resident of the surrounding five counties of Pasco County for at least six months proceeding the date of the local pageant, February 23, 2008.
2. Contestant must be between the ages of 17 and 24 (no older than 24 on Sept. 30 of the year in which she would compete in the National Finals).
3. Contestant must have always been female; be of good moral character; never been married; never been pregnant; and not have been involved at any time in any act of moral turpitude.
4. Contestant must never have been convicted of any crime and not have any criminal charge pending; never performed any act or engaged in any activity that is or could be characterized as dishonest, immoral, immodest, indecent or in bad taste.
5. Each contestant will be required to complete a Contestant’s Contract with the pageant director before the first practice.
6. Each contestant is expected to attend every rehearsal and/or meeting called by the Miss Pasco County Pageant Committee. Absences and/or tardiness will not be tolerated.
7. Each contestant will be required to compete in five categories: interview, swimsuit, talent, evening wear, and on-stage question.
8. All clothing that is worn at rehearsal will be the clothing that is worn the night of the pageant.
9. The dressing room will be closed to everyone on the nights of the dress rehearsal and the pageant, except for the contestants, pageant director, pageant committee, and any other person authorized by the Miss Pasco County Pageant Committee.
10. Winner or winners will go to the Miss Florida Pageant to be held the third week of June 2008 under the leadership of her Ed/Committee. The Pasco County Fair has paid the entry fee and is responsible. (Not the dance teacher, voice coach, interview coach or parent.)
11. The winners will be expected to participate in the following events:  Pasco County Fair Association Annual Meeting in March or April 2008; Dade City Christmas Parade, Dec., 2008, and Pasco County Fair Parade, Feb., 2009.
12. All contracts and any other forms to enter the Miss Florida Pageant must be completely filled out two weeks after winning the crowns of Miss Pasco and Miss Pasco County Fair. No Exceptions.
13. All wardrobes to be used at the Miss Florida Pageant MUST be presented to the pageant committee four weeks before the Miss Florida Pageant. No Exceptions.
14. The winners must request their scholarship awards before the pageant in 2009 by notifying the Pasco County Fair Association of which college or university they will attend so the award funds may be deposited in the winner’s accounts at said school. No scholarship awards will be issued to the individual personally.
15. All appearances of the winners must be scheduled through the pageant director or Fair Office. No exceptions.
16. Previous Miss Pasco/Miss Pasco County Fair titleholders (winners) are ineligible to compete again.
17. EACH CONTESTANT WILL BE REQUIRED TO RAISE $100 FOR THE CHILDREN’S MIRACLE NETWORK BEFORE THE FEB. 16^TH, 2008 DRESS REHEARSAL.
