The Greenes
The Greenes host one of the nation's most popular Gospel Sings in their hometown of Boone, NC. The event, held annually the second weekend in August, brings thousands of people into Boone to celebrate gospel music. Tony, 38, promotes this event as well as several events throughout the year in various towns across the country including two of the largest indoor SG concerts with Abraham Productions. In addition, with the release of his comedy recordings, Life's Too Short Not To Laugh and Laugh Again, Tony has become recognized as one of the funniest Christian comedians. Tony was voted favorite Christian Comedian by the voters of the Southern Gospel Music Awards in 2005. Tony also stays very busy handling the managerial responsibilities for The Greenes.
The Greenes consist of Tony and TaRanda Greene, joined by Brad Hudson and John Jeffrey.
Every member of this group prays daily that God will give them souls
for their labors and they all share a common goal to be the best they
can be for the glory and honor of the Lord. Despite several years of
success, The Greenes still see a need to keep on keeping on, telling
the story of grace and glory and compelling the lost to come to Jesus
the Savior!
